Where the idea came


This game is the result of having the wildest need of playing a much modern version of Spore, a 14 years old game about evolution, development of a race to a space civilization. A game that EA possible will never look upon it due to be very niche.


So I have a storm of ideas, of what can be added to the original game that could make it more interesting, more complex.

The first idea a came was with the Emergence the idea that simple agents (atoms, particles, systems, etc) can integrate to create a much complex system.

I highly recommend you to check this video, is short and explain better than me, the concept of emergence.

The next thing is the concept of evolution in Spore, the game follow the ideas of Darwin throughout the gameplay. But we should go steps behind. If the cells, the agent which whom the game starts, what came before, the cellular structures, and before that molecules, a step back the atoms, which are fabricated with subatomic particles.

I wanted to incorporate all of this parts into mechanics which the player can interact and maybe learn something.

So the first part is playing with the human knowledge of the subatomic particles and create a game mechanics with that.
